HTC Flyer Gets Android 3.2, Honeycomb Update!

If you have an HTC Flyer, you have had probably the best 7" tablet of 2011.  There has been only one thing holding you back, that is still having an old OS while every other tablet moved on to bigger and better things.  Well finally the wait is over, the HTC Flyer has gotten it's update to Android 3.2.  This update has been long overdue and has been the main reason that HTC did not have a more profitable year with their tablets.

After using the newly updated Flyer I can say it is a much nicer experience overall and does seem to move faster and more fluid.  The best part about it though has to be is can now use all the tablet apps it was unable to in the past.  There are two down sides however.  The first would be a silly one, but still sad nonetheless. You can no longer spin your home screens around like you use to.  It's 5 screens of honeycomb and no spinning with those. I know I know.  The second part is a little more concerning, but my guess is that it will be fixed with an update.  The browser (so far every browser I've used) does not scroll as smoothly as it once did.  Again this might be fixed with an update, but until then just something you should know.
