New Acer Tablet Making News, In Pricing!

Acer had a rough start in the tablet world in 2011.  Acer is known for having a long lasting product for a really low price.  In 2011 however Asus started off with $399 tablet that beat the Acer tablet original price of $449.  Acer didn't sell many of it's tablet till it dropped to $399.  The moral of the story was that if you're going to make a low priced tablet make sure no one else can price it lower than your own.

This time around Acer is planning accordingly.  The A200 is a 10.1 tablet that will be priced at $329.99.  It has it's own interface on top of Android 3.0 and will upgrade to Android 4.0 in mid February.  It also is going to have only 8GB built in as oppose to the standard 16GB, but if you pop your micro SD in there that's not a problem.  Other than that the specs are almost identical to their model from 2011 except with a better new look of course.  Check out the commercial in the article to see the new look.  It's not bad, and for the price it should keep the competition interesting.
