Android has become the Number One Selling OS for tablets this holiday season, but they won't stop there. Now Intel is partnering up with them to build even better tablets. This tablet has been in the works for sometime now because of the huge blow that Intel took with it's future computer market. For those of you that don't know Intel was beat out to once again be the primary chip maker for windows when Windows 8 is release in 2012. Who did they lose to? ARM chips which are known for their cellphone chips have taken that spot. Therefore Intel is now entering the mobile market since they will not be making as many Computer chips as they use to.
This tablet is a pretty good looking start, but what's more impressive is it's speed. The dual processor on this tablet outclassed all current dual processors on the market in the mobile industry. Of course we are at a cross roads where the tablet industry will be splitting into dual core and quad core processors right now. How will it the Intel chip "Medfield" stand up to a quad core processor? We can only wait and see.
